Job summary

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural / M&E / or related discipline.

Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or eligible for registration.

Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in construction projects.

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and Malaysian regulatory requirements.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and construction project management software.

Familiarity with CIDB, DOSH, and other local construction authority procedures.

Responsibilities:

C&S

Supervise daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and local construction regulations.

Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and progress; issue site instructions, non-compliance reports, and ensure corrective actions.

Review method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and quality test results.

Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and local authorities to resolve technical and site-related issues.

Conduct regular site inspections, quality control audits, and enforce safety protocols.

Maintain comprehensive site records including daily logs, progress photographs, and correspondence.

Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards throughout the construction lifecycle.

M&E

Inspect daily mechanical and electrical work on-site, including air-conditioning, electrical wiring, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

Check that materials and workmanship follow approved drawings and technical specifications.

Work closely with contractors, consultants, clients, and local authorities to solve site issues and design clashes.

Monitor construction speed, review contractor work programs, and report any delays.

Attend equipment tests and witness system startups to verify proper operation.

Keep detailed site diaries, take date-stamped photos, and verify monthly progress claims and reports.
