Job summary

Klinik HealthQuarters is seeking a Resident Doctor who is friendly, caring and patient-focused. You will talk with patients, understand concerns, and explain health conditions clearly in a family-friendly GP clinic setting.

Responsibilities include managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting screenings, and supporting antenatal and child healthcare services. Flexible rostered shifts and opportunities for ultrasound training are offered in Kuala Lumpur clinics.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Support women’s health, antenatal and child healthcare services.
• Conduct health screenings and medical examinations.

• Ensure proper follow-up and continuity of care.
• Perform minor procedures when trained.
• Perform ultrasound when appropriately trained and certified.

Our patients mainly include women, children and families seeking antenatal care, pregnancy scans, women’s health services, health screening, weight management, vaccinations, child healthcare and common GP services.

We believe in giving patients enough time and providing personalised, quality care rather than rushing consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide friendly and thorough consultations.
• Explain medical conditions, treatment and health advice clearly.
• Support women’s health, antenatal and child healthcare services.
• Conduct health screenings and medical examinations.
• Recommend appropriate tests and preventive healthcare.
• Explain suitable clinic programmes and treatment options to patients.
• Ensure proper follow-up and continuity of care.
• Perform minor procedures when trained.
• Perform ultrasound when appropriately trained and certified.

Requirements

• MBBS, MD or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
• Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Completed housemanship.
• GP, clinic or primary-care experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Comfortable working on rostered shifts.
• Professional, responsible and reliable.
• Friendly personality and good patient-handling skills.
