in Malaysia seeks a General Practitioner to provide comprehensive consultations, manage acute and chronic conditions, and deliver preventive care within primary care. You will conduct health screenings, vaccinations, minor procedures, interpret results, document in EMR, and coordinate referrals while collaborating with pharmacists and allied health professionals to ensure continuous, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or MMC-recognised medical degree.
• Valid APC / annual practising certificate.
• Experience in General Practice or Primary Care preferred.
• Experience in chronic disease management a plus.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultations and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct health screenings, vaccinations, and preventive care.
• Perform minor procedures within primary care scope.
• Interpret lab and diagnostic results to guide treatment.
• Build long-term doctor-patient relationships with continuity of care.
• Educate patients on prevention, adherence, and healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Provide comprehensive consultations and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

Conduct health screenings, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare services.

Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of primary care.

Interpret laboratory and diagnostic results to develop appropriate treatment plans.

Build long-term doctor-patient relationships and provide continuity of care.

Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Work collaboratively with pharmacists and allied healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.

Support telehealth services, including teleconsultations, blood test reporting, and electronic prescription services (EPS).

Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure smooth continuity of care.

Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in Continuous Medical Education (CME) and contribute to service improvements.

Support clinic initiatives that enhance patient experience, operational efficiency, and quality of care.

Requirements

• MBBS or an equivalent medical degree recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Experience in General Practice or Primary Care is preferred.
• Experience in chronic disease management is an added advantage.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about delivering patient-centered, preventive healthcare.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
