Job summary

RFNet Technologies Pte Ltd in Malaysia's Penang region seeks an experienced Requirements Management Manager to lead lifecycle activities for a major railway COMMS & ITS project. You will establish traceability, manage design-to-test requirements, and ensure compliance with RAMS and system engineering standards.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of DOORS/ComplyPro and strong collaboration with System Engineers and project teams to deliver on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in railway projects.
• 3+ years as Requirements Management Manager for railway projects.
• Proven experience as key personnel in railway projects.
• Hands-on with DOORS, ComplyPro or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability and RAMS.

Requirements Management Manager – Railway COMMS & ITS - Malaysia Penang

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Requirements Management Manager to lead and manage requirements throughout the lifecycle of a major railway COMMS & ITS project. The role will be responsible for establishing requirements traceability, monitoring compliance and managing requirements from design and implementation through testing, commissioning and project handover. Candidates must have proven railway requirements management experience and hands‑on knowledge of DOORS, ComplyPro or equivalent tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Requirements Management activities throughout the railway project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain the Requirements Management Plan, requirements database and traceability matrix.
• Manage requirements from specification and design through implementation, testing, commissioning and final handover.
• Ensure requirements are properly traced to system design, verification, validation and test results.
• Coordinate with System Engineers, Interface & Integration, T&C and project teams to ensure requirements compliance.
• Manage requirements using DOORS, ComplyPro or equivalent Requirements Management tools.
• Monitor requirements changes, approvals, deviations and compliance status.
• Prepare requirements management reports and support project audits and customer/STC reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in railway projects.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience specifically as a Requirements Management Manager for railway projects.
• Proven experience as key personnel in railway projects.
• Strong practical experience in Requirements Management and Requirements Traceability.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM DOORS, ComplyPro or equivalent tools.
• Good understanding of railway system engineering, verification & validation, configuration/change management and project lifecycle.
• Experience with railway RAMS, safety and systems engineering processes will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
