Job summary

Aurora Talent seeks a Quality Engineer to deliver owner-side QA/QC across renewable energy projects and assets, applying the regional QMS on solar, wind, BESS and balance-of-plant works. The role develops quality plans, implements ITPs, and supports supplier quality from manufacturing through operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience in utility-scale power, renewable energy or major infrastructure.
• QAP, ITP, PQP and FQP preparation and implementation.
• Factory and site inspections including FAT/SAT witnessing and test report interpretation.
• NCR management, RCA, 8D and CAPA.
• Supplier qualification, factory audits and quality process audits.
• Quality KPIs, CTQs, dashboards and Cost of Poor Quality.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IEC/IEEE, civil and Malaysian standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement quality plans, ITPs and checklists in line with the regional QMS
• Carry out factory and site inspections, FAT/SAT witnessing and field quality surveillance
• Manage NCRs, RCA/8D and corrective actions with contractors and suppliers through to closure
• Maintain quality records, KPIs and lessons learned to support handover and continual improvement
