SimpliSolar is seeking a QA/QC and HSE leader to report to the CEO, overseeing compliance across electrical and renewable energy projects. You will supervise a Regulatory & Compliance Executive and drive ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 initiatives, ensuring high safety and quality standards.

You will inspect site installations, manage defect resolution, conduct risk assessments, and lead internal audits while reporting key quality metrics to the CEO. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• 4–6 years of QA/QC, HSE or compliance experience.
• Hands-on electrical works, site supervision and testing/commissioning.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and apply electrical hazard controls (LOTO, earthing, energisation).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsabilités

• QA/QC: Inspect site installations, assess electrical workmanship against approved drawings, and manage defect resolution and root-cause analysis.
• HSE: Conduct site safety inspections, enforce electrical safety controls, review risk assessments, and handle incident investigations.
• ISO & Compliance: Implement ISO standards, manage internal audits, and oversee statutory submissions (e.g., SEDA, TNB, ST).
• Leadership: Track corporate risk profiles, mentor your team, and report critical quality and safety metrics directly to the CEO.
