Job summary

Gentari Malaysia is seeking an Analyst, Procurement & Contract Management to oversee procurement activities across projects, corporate and indirect spend. You will analyze requirements, source suppliers, and support contract formation to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.

This role focuses on sustainability and governance across the supply chain. The role requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years in procurement or contract management, with strong analytical and stakeholder

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management.
  • Preferable experience in renewable energy.
  • Proven proficiency in procurement and contract management, with hands-on experience executing frameworks, applying tools, and recommending improvements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement planning, sourcing, tendering, evaluations, contract awards, and purchase order management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and value-driven procurement delivery.
  • Post-award contract administration, contractor performance tracking, contract variations, renewals, closure, and value utilisation.
  • Manage tender committee documentation, procurement records, risk tracking, compliance monitoring, and audit-ready governance requirements.
  • Maintain procurement data quality, analyse spend and savings, report performance metrics, and support sustainability-related procurement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
