Intel Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Remote Operations Center Manufacturing Technician (Contract) in Penang, Malaysia.

You will monitor real-time factory operations from a remote workstation, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help sustain high equipment availability in a high-volume semiconductor environment. The role requires a Diploma in a relevant technical field, 1+ years of experience (fresh graduates welcome), and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics / Chemical Process Engineering / Chemistry / Physics.
• 1+ years of working experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, or manufacturing operations environments.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work rotating shifts across global manufacturing operations (day shift 6:50 am–7:00 pm; night shift 6:50 pm–7:00 am).
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience with end-user computer skills and navigation and automation systems troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze real-time factory operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable effective communication and coordination.
• Support high equipment availability and predictable manufacturing results.
• Help sustain Intel’s leadership in advanced packaging manufacturing.
• Plan and execute production material movement from a remote workstation.
• Monitor fab equipment health and communicate with production personnel.
• Respond to equipment alarms and resolve them with cross-functional support.
• Execute real-time disposition on alarms and production lots when required.
• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot equipment errors and material flows per safety and quality values.
• Understand and perform complex production instructions with inputs from multiple stakeholders.
• Complete shiftly documentation and report progress to the global team.
• Improve workstation performance through continuous improvement projects and skill development.
