Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of interpreting experience, preferably OPI/VRI.
• National or State Interpreter Certification preferred.
• Knowledgeable command of medical and social services terminology.
• Forty or more hours of interpreter training.

Responsibilities

• Interpret messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare personnel.
• Adhere to National Standards of Practice for Interpreters.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
