Job summary

THE LANGUAGE GROUP, LLC is looking for an experienced interpreter for a remote-only position. You will interpret between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers, adhering to professional standards and maintaining confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience, relevant certification, and must demonstrate fluency in both English and the target language. A suitable work environment and equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably OPI/VRI.
• Knowledge of Medical and Educational terminology is essential.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Interpret messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers on-site.
• Adhere to National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Health Care.
• Ensure a clean, quiet, and confidential call environment.
