Job summary

THE LANGUAGE GROUP, LLC is seeking a qualified remote interpreter to facilitate communication between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers. The role requires a minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably in OPI or VRI, and a National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC. Ideal candidates must possess strong fluency in English and the target language, excellent interpersonal skills, and a dedicated work environment.

The position is fully remote and involves adhering to the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters to maintain confidentiality. Candidates must also have 40 hours or more of interpreter training.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum of interpreting experience preferable OPI/VRI.
• Knowledge of Medical, Educational, and social services terminology.
• Good command of English and target language, with fluency test results.
