Job summary

ContactLink Solutions LLC is seeking a Mandarin-English interpreter for a fully remote, full-time contractor role. You will provide interpretation between Mandarin and English speakers, delivering accurate, culturally aware translations from your home office.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, strong listening and note-taking skills, and the ability to work with healthcare terminology. You will join an international team and receive monthly payments after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin with interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with client permission or request.

Notepads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency inEnglish and Mandarin
• Minimum2 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or Mac
