Ideal candidates are based in the Philippines or Malaysia, comfortable with video sessions, and able to work night hours aligned with US Eastern Time.

Qualifications

• Fluent, professional verbal ability in English and Cantonese.
• Understanding of medical interpreting basics (informal experience acceptable).
• Ability to accurately interpret medical information between languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate video interpreting between English and Cantonese.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy requirements.
• Follow interpreter ethics and company procedures.
• Adapt to evolving technology and workflow requirements.
• Participate in training and quality activities.
• Maintain professional conduct before, during, and after sessions.
• Record and report relevant session information as needed.
• Support a remote interpretation service with a customer-focused mindset.
