Job summary

Expansion International Group Limited is expanding a team of Medical Video Remote Interpreters to support US healthcare providers and Mandarin-speaking patients. This role is fully remote, requires a private, lockable workspace and strict confidentiality; sessions occur on camera with professional presence.

Full training is provided. Prior interpretation experience helps but is not required; strong bilingual fluency and cultural sensitivity are essential. Night shifts align with US Eastern Time.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Mandarin with professional interpreting understanding.
• Ability to interpret medical information accurately in both languages.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.
• Private, distraction-free home workspace with secured environment.
• Comfortable on camera and remote work setup, aligned with US ET.
• Based in Malaysia or Philippines, eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate English–Mandarin video interpreting, with some phone sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to interpreter ethics and standards.
• Engage with patients and healthcare professionals in sensitive situations.
• Participate in training, coaching, and quality activities.
