Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and payroll practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing by organizing and providing necessary documentation.
• Stay up to date with accounting software, industry trends, and any changes in financial regulations.
