Job summary

The Branding People in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Creative Strategist who is curious about content, advertising and what makes people stop scrolling. This role offers hands-on experience across creative strategy, short‑form content, scripting and Meta Ads planning with training provided.

You will brainstorm ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook, develop scripts and storyboards, support Meta Ads launches, collaborate with the marketing team, and stay ahead of trends using AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm engaging ideas for short‑form videos across TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook.
• Develop scripts, storyboards and content flows from ideas.
• Support Meta Ads launches by planning creative assets and angles with the team.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to realise concepts and improve outputs.
• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for ideation and planning with training provided.
• Stay updated on social media trends and competitors to spot opportunities.

We're looking for a Junior Creative Strategist who is curious about content, advertising and what makes people stop scrolling. This is a great opportunity for a fresh graduate or junior creative to develop hands-on experience across creative strategy, short-form content, scripting and Meta Ads planning — with training provided along the way.

What You'll Be Crafting

• Brainstorm engaging content ideas, hooks, storylines and creative angles for short-form videos across TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook.
• Develop clear scripts, storyboards and content flows that turn ideas into engaging, easy-to-produce video concepts.
• Support Meta Ads launching by planning creative assets and angles for Meta Ads launches, working closely with the team.
• Collaborate the wider marketing team to bring concepts to life, provide feedback and improve creative outputs.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to support ideation, scripting and content planning. Training will be provided.
• Stay updated with social media trends, viral content and competitor creatives to identify new opportunities and creative approaches.
