Cognizant is seeking a PE Maps associate to improve map content accuracy for Indonesian-speaking markets. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur with day shifts and remote work, requiring Indonesian, Malay and English language skills to support customer experience and location-based services.

Responsibilities include reviewing mapping data, analyzing issues, validating POIs, updating geographic attributes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Native level fluency in Indonesian for reviewing map content.
• Working proficiency in Malay for reading/writing.
• Strong command of English for reading/writing and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review digital map content for Indonesian regions and verify accuracy.
• Analyze reported mapping issues and categorize for resolution.
• Validate points of interest in Indonesian sources to improve search relevance.
• Update geographic attributes in mapping tools with correct names, addresses and classifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams with updates in English and Malay.
• Document data quality patterns in concise reports for process improvement.
• Respond to internal mapping queries in Indonesian with clear explanations.
• Handle mapping escalations with empathy and maintain service levels.
• Perform quality checks on map edits using structured checklists.
• Use dashboards to track productivity and quality metrics.
• Flag potential content risks and ensure outputs respect local norms and policies.
• Suggest process optimization ideas from day-to-day review tasks.
• Maintain data confidentiality in office systems.
