Job summary

Addiction Foods NZ Ltd. is seeking an experienced HR Manager (Chinese speaking) to work remotely in Malaysia as a hands-on individual contributor.

You will own end-to-end HR processes including L&D, performance management, KPI administration, payroll, compensation & benefits, and employee lifecycle management. You will identify and fix workflow inefficiencies, automate HR tasks, and leverage AI tools to improve reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on HR Generalist / HR Management experience.
• Proven experience as an individual contributor, not primarily supervising a team.
• Strong hands-on experience in Learning & Development, Performance Management & KPI administration, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage Learning & Development end to end, including planning, coordination, tracking and reporting.
• Oversee Performance Management and KPI processes, including goal setting and reviews.
• Coordinate payroll processing, attendance, leave, overtime, and salary adjustments.
• Administer Compensation & Benefits data and documentation.
• Handle onboarding, confirmations, movements and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and payroll data; prepare HR reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with employees and managers to resolve HR operational matters.
• Review and simplify HR processes; drive automation and standardization.
• Develop SOPs, process maps, forms, templates, controls and user guides.
• Participate in HR automation and digital improvement projects.
• Explore AI/automation for HR reporting, documentation and workflows.
• Coordinate with Finance, IT, vendors and providers; manage projects from problem to implementation.
