TransPerfect Connect is seeking professional bilingual interpreters (English & Mandarin) for a structured, remote role. You will provide consecutive interpretation across medical, legal, and customer service contexts, maintaining accuracy and neutrality on high-pressure calls.

A four-week paid training program (on-site or remote) and ongoing development opportunities are offered, with potential career growth in QA, training, and leadership paths.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Mandarin, with B2+ proficiency or higher.
• Pass language and interpreting skills assessment.
• Minimum of 6 months of call center, customer service, or interpreting experience.
• Strong verbal communication, bilingual accuracy, and ethical decision making.
• Ability to work in fast-moving, emotionally complex situations.
• Stable home internet connection.
• Identity Qualification: provide government-issued photo identification during recruitment and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services between English and Mandarin across various industries.
• Maintain neutrality, accuracy, and confidentiality in interpretation—preserving tone, intent, and emotion.
• Manage call flow professionally, including intervening when clarification is needed.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and feedback sessions to maintain and enhance performance.
• Utilize MS Office and internal platforms to log activity.
