Job summary

TML Remittance Center Sdn Bhd, a licensed money services business, seeks a capable team member at its head office in Batu Pahat, Johor. The role involves assisting both local and foreign customers with money transfers, handling cash, and ensuring accurate processing.

You will support daily branch operations and liaise with partners to track transactions, resolve issues, and manage compliant holds until payout or cancellation. This position offers growth within the Finance & Accounts team.

Qualifications

• Experience in bank or remittance counter preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in sending money overseas and at the counter.
• Handle cash received from customers with accuracy.
• Process transactions and issue receipts via the remittance system.
• Support daily branch opening/closing and transaction clerical tasks.
• Coordinate amendments, cancellations, refunds, and holds to payout.
• Liaise with partners to update status and resolve issues.
• Address customer complaints quickly and close cases.

Job description

• Assist both local and foreign customers in sending money to their home countries (e.g., Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nepal, and others).
• Handle and count cash received from customers at the counter.
• Process transactions accurately using the remittance system and issue official receipts.
• Perform daily branch operations, including opening and closing transactions.
• To assist branches in transactions involving amendments, cancellation, refund, rejection, compliance hold, etc until the last stage of either successful payout or cancelled transaction.
• To liaise with various correspondence partners on the transactions status and to provide prompt feedback in order to resolve the transactions problems.
• To handle and resolve customers complaints on transactions and to close the complaint in the shortest possible time.
