Job summary

Linde Malaysia Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical plant equipment at the Bukit Raja site, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or plant engineering within a manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, or process plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement effective reliability improvement solutions.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a systematic approach to work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues, lead root cause investigations, and drive reliability improvements to enhance plant safety, performance, and operational availability.
• Analyse downtime events, identify improvement opportunities, and develop solutions to prevent recurring equipment failures while minimizing maintenance costs.
• Plan and support major maintenance activities, turnaround projects, and emergency repair works to ensure critical equipment remains reliable and operational.
• Conduct reliability and risk assessments, provide engineering recommendations, and support the implementation of equipment improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and external suppliers to deliver sustainable reliability improvements.
