Job summary

A financial services organization in Kota Kinabalu is looking for a motivated individual to distribute BANCA (Life & General) products. The successful candidate will develop customer relations, customize insurance programs, and participate in sales campaigns. We seek someone with a degree in Marketing or related fields and excellent communication skills. Experience in Bancassurance is preferred. This role offers the opportunity to enhance customer service innovation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Sales, Marketing & Event or Business administration is an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of Bancassurance is a must.
  • Proficient in writing reports.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the distribution of BANCA (Life & General) products for Enterprise Banking. Fulfilment and achievement of assigned BANCA target by the Division.

Accountabilities

  • Active distribution of suitable BANCA products to customers of Enterprise Banking
  • Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients
  • Consistently seek out new customers and develop customer base through networking
  • Increase share of wallets for Enterprise Banking BANCA Business
  • Provide BANCA advisory or support to Business Centre, Commercial Sales and to perform joint sales, where necessary
  • Ensure completeness of documents being submitted and customer due diligence being complied
  • Perform transactional servicing or support and manage customers’ expectation
  • Participate in business planning, campaigns and tactical plans to increase sales performance
  • Observe and adhere to Compliance Policies with strong awareness of BANCA operational risks
  • Comply with the Professional Certification requirements, prior to promoting any BANCA products
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Persuade prospective clients to engage in a phone conversation and/or meeting to discuss insurance products
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company products.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or any other related disciplines.
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing & Event or Business administration would be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of Bancassurance.
  • Strong initiative and positive attitude with good writing, communications, interpersonal skills and influencing skills.
  • Possesses good business acumen.
  • A proactive individual with good initiative, resourceful and creative.
  • Passion for customer service innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound analytical, problem solving with good report writing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Able to work independently under pressure with tight deadline.
