Job summary

Genpact is inviting applications for a Reinsurance Accounting – Property & Casualty claims role in Malaysia. You will review and analyze insurance and reinsurance claims, verify coverage and eligibility, and ensure complete documentation while maintaining records for compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Insurance/ Actuarial Science / Economics / Finance / Risk Management, or similar.
• Exposure to reinsurance or insurance claims preferred; strong interest in developing technical claims capability.
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Alteryx (training will be provided if needed).
• Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of reinsurance structures, including treaties, facultative placements, and contract wording.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze insurance and reinsurance claims to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Verify policy information, coverage details, and claim eligibility.
• Investigate claim validity and process claims efficiently while adhering to company policies.
• Communicate with clients, insurance agents, and adjusters to provide updates on claim status and resolution.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of claims for documentation and compliance purposes.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims and assist with audits or investigations as required.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to claimants and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution.
