The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in banking finance reporting, ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent, and advanced Excel skills with familiarity in financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, disclosures) in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate financial reporting submissions to UOB Group Singapore (reporting packs, consolidations, variance analysis, management reporting).
• Prepare and submit Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulatory reports on time.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities (journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions).
• Analyze financial results, provide commentary and explain variances to management and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing statutory financial statements and disclosures per MFRS/IFRS; coordinate with Finance, Risk, and regional teams.
• Participate in finance transformation, automation, and process improvements for reporting efficiency.
• Support ad hoc analysis, regulatory reviews, audits, and special projects.
