Job summary

Ipoh Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide individualized holistic care within the ward. You will carry out doctors’ orders, conduct rounds, and reassess patient needs while maintaining clear documentation and handover reports.

You’ll collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction. You will participate in unit meetings, support the Unit Manager as needed, and help manage supplies and equipment to maintain smooth ward

Qualifications

• Provides individualized holistic care using the Nursing Process and proper documentation.
• Takes handover reports, assesses patient conditions, and replans care as needed.
• Follows doctors' orders and participates in ward rounds with the team.
• Communicates effectively with doctors, consultants, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Carry out doctors' orders and delegated care tasks.
• Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patient needs.
• Summon and liaise with doctors/consultants as required.
• Attend unit meetings and participate in ward activities.
