Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Supply Planning Team Leader to oversee regional planning across APAC from its Malaysia hub. You will manage inventory, allocation, and deployment while driving improvements in service levels and inventory performance.

The role requires 4-6 years in planning roles, experience with regional markets, and strong Excel skills. Collaboration with manufacturing, logistics and commercial teams is essential, with a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in Supply Planning, Replenishment, Demand or Deployment Planning.
• Experience in an MNC product-based organisation, preferably FMCG/Consumer Goods/Healthcare.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory replenishment, supply allocation, and distribution planning.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Planning Team Leader should have:

• 4-6 years of experience in Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning, Demand Planning, or Deployment Planning
• Experience within an MNC product-based organisation, preferably from FMCG, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or other production-driven industries
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory replenishment, supply allocation, and distribution planning processes
• Advanced Excel skills are essential, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, filtering, reporting, and analysing planning data
• Regional planning experience supporting Australia, China, or other APAC markets would be an advantage
• Experience managing supply shortages, inventory risks, and operational escalations
• Exposure to Kinaxis, SAP, JDE, or similar planning systems is advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Team leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience would be an advantage
