Job summary

McGraw Hill Malaysia seeks a Managing Editor to oversee Asia content development, partnering with teams in the Philippines, Indonesia, and China to drive growth in high-stakes exam content.

You will own end-to-end strategy for UKMPPD and Philippines PLE content, contracting authors and developing localization roadmaps across regional curriculums. Strong writing, negotiation and project management are essential for global markets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required with strong editorial experience.
• 4+ years in editorial content development and/or acquisitions, preferably medical publishing.
• Experience publishing for global markets; knowledge of digital platforms and AI in content creation.
• Excellent writing, negotiation, and communication skills; strong project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Asia-focused content development and localization roadmaps.
• Contract authors for review courses, Q&A materials and ancillaries.
• Lead end-to-end projects from focus groups to concept validation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Editorial, and regional teams to drive growth.
• Apply AI approaches to create derivative content and expand markets.
