Job summary

Lablink (M) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Regional Business Development role covering Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. You will drive growth initiatives, build relationships with healthcare providers and KPI stakeholders to expand Lablink’s presence in the Southern region.

Collaborate with KPJ hospitals and internal teams to create viable service solutions, proposals, and pricing strategies, and manage the sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional business growth plan for Melaka and Negeri Sembilan aligned with Lablink’s commercial strategy and revenue targets.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities from external healthcare providers, corporations, employers, insurers, institutions and other relevant organisations.
• Drive internal revenue growth by increasing utilisation of Lablink services across KPJ hospitals and related companies within the region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, business partners, KPJ stakeholders and other strategic accounts to support revenue growth and retention.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, tender participation, negotiation and conversion.
• Conduct regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, emerging opportunities and potential threats within the region.
• Work closely with laboratory operations and relevant internal functions to develop commercially viable service solutions, packages and proposals that meet customer requirements.
• Monitor regional sales performance, revenue achievement, pipeline status, customer conversion and account development; provide regular reports and recommendations to the Senior Manager – Commercial.
• Support pricing, commercial proposals and negotiations within approved authority, ensuring business opportunities are commercially sustainable and aligned with Lablink’s policies.
• Coordinate and support marketing, promotional and customer engagement activities to increase awareness and utilisation of Lablink’s laboratory services.
• Ensure effective handover and coordination of new accounts to the relevant operational teams and monitor customer experience and service delivery.
• Represent Lablink at relevant meetings, networking activities, industry engagements and business development events to strengthen market presence and generate leads.
• Ensure all business development activities are conducted with high integrity and in compliance with applicable company policies, governance requirements and relevant regulations.
