Job summary

Innowave Tech Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee end-to-end financial management for Malaysia and Taiwan, while supporting the Singapore entity. The role balances hands-on accounting with scalable process improvements in a growing startup environment.

The ideal candidate will lead full-set accounting, manage intercompany flows, ensure statutory compliance, and partner with the Singapore finance team on forecasts and strategic metrics across regional operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting; ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of full-set accounting or finance management experience.
• Experience handling regional accounts or startup environments is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax, SST, WHT, corporate tax returns and E-invoicing requirements.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• English and Chinese proficiency to engage with stakeholders in Singapore and Taiwan.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and month/year-end closings.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, vendor approvals, and budgeting to optimize cash flow.
• Ensure tax compliance in Malaysia and cross-border tax handling with Singapore/Taiwan teams.
• Collaborate with regional teams to align COA and reporting structures; support founders with financial metrics.
