Job summary

Talent Recruit is representing a global technology and outsourcing company recruiting a Regional Finance Manager based in Puchong, Selangor. The role leads the group finance team, oversees subsidiary finance, and owns ERP systems used by Finance.

Responsibilities include consolidation, reporting to the parent company, meeting regulatory deadlines, budgeting and forecasting, and liaising with auditors and tax agents. Leaves and performance bonus are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accountancy/Finance is required or advantageous.
• ACCA/CPA/CA qualifications are an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Commercial acumen and data-driven decision making are important.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Group finance team and oversees subsidiary finance work.
• Prepares Group consolidation quarterly and related schedules for listed parent company and disclosures.
• Produces reports for management and parent company.
• Ensures regulatory deadlines at group level are met.
• Develops long-term business plans and budgets.
• Forecasting and budgeting for the business and cashflow management.
• Manages ERP system and liaises with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary.
• Strengthens internal controls and mentors team members.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance

Master's Degree in Accountancy or Finance

ACCA CPA CA qualifications

• Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
• Work location: Puchong, Selangor

Job Description:

• Leads Group finance team
• Overseeing and reviewing work done by the subsidiary finance team
• Preparation of Group consolidation quarterly and related schedules for listed parent company & disclosure purpose.
• Reporting & producing reports for management and parent company
• Make sure the regulatory deadlines are met in the group level
• Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
• Budgeting and forecasting for the business
• Managing software maintenance renewal team
• Liaising with external auditors, tax agents and company secretary
• Looking into strengthening current internal control and process improvement
• Mentoring other team members
• Owner of the ERP system used by the Finance team
• Cashflow Management of the group companies

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Having ACCA, CPA, or CA qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Commercial and business acumen
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
• Ability to stick to time constraints
