Job summary

Fagron is seeking a Business Controller for the Holding Group in Singapore and Malaysia, based in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur/Johor Baru). You will manage financial processes, model and implement controls, and partner with management on strategic decisions across entities in Singapore and Malaysia.

The role requires 8+ years in a similar position, IFRS expertise, and proficiency with ERP/BI tools. Travel within Malaysia and Singapore is expected; ERP implementations may be involved.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in Business Economics, Accounting or Controlling.
Experience in a matrix organization and 8+ years in a similar role.
Excellent IFRS accounting knowledge and local reporting requirements (SFRS/MPERS).
Familiarity with Financial and ICT processes; Dynamics 365/AX is an advantage.
Strong English; Bahasa/Mandarin and English skills are preferred.
Interest in new IT tools for financial analysis and reporting (Power BI a plus).

Responsibilities

Model, structure, implement and control financial procedures for the entity group.
Coordinate day-to-day activities aligned with strategy and policy.
Ensure accurate accounting, costings, balance sheet reviews and tax calculations.
Lead monthly/yearly closing and reporting with stakeholders across entities.
Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across regions.
Provide financial insights to inform strategic decisions and ad hoc projects.
