Job summary

Taylor's University Sdn Bhd seeks a Manager - Business Development (B2C) for the Southern & Melaka region to lead regional sales and enrolment efforts. You will guide a team, engage partner schools, and drive conversions, while collaborating with Marketing to optimize campaigns and events.

The role requires 8+ years in education sales with leadership experience, strong counseling, and multilingual communication. Based in Melaka; full-time, on-site with travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Management/Marketing or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of working experience in an educational environment with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Business development and account management experience in the education environment is preferred.
• Experience in regional sales execution would be an added advantage.
• Strong selling and counseling capabilities.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Familiar with sales tools, processes and technological development and management.
• Familiar with Higher Education products customer profiling and competitor profiling.
• Knowledge on ATL, BTL, Digital Marketing and Feeder School Marketing & Branding approaches.
• Account Management & Execution strategies.
• Cost benchmarking for Sales & Marketing effort.
• Knowledge on agent network management and remuneration.
• Footprint expansion, development and optimization.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin; ability to read/write/speak Mandarin is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Grow enrolment for the Southern & Melaka region including National Sales targets.
• Manage the sales team’s performance and regional targets; drive student registrations.
• Provide admissions information, tuition fees, scholarships and accommodation guidance to prospective students and parents.
• Follow up with prospective students and parents for sales conversion across channels.
• Support enrolment-related events such as Open Days and Enrolment Days.
• Conduct market intelligence and monitor competitors’ offerings.
• Coordinate with Marketing for plans and promotional materials.
• Oversee operations of the regional office and liaise with stakeholders.
