Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards to monitor business and product performance across SEA markets.
Analyze key business metrics, including sales, inventory, sell-through, markdowns, replenishment, and profitability, to support commercial decision-making.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal business performance reports, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Identify sales opportunities, product risks, and inventory issues through in-depth data analysis and recommend appropriate actions.
Support assortment planning by providing analysis across SKU, category, colour, size, and price architecture.
Monitor new product performance and recommend optimization strategies based on sales trends and market performance.
Conduct cross-country performance comparisons and benchmarking across SEA markets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop demand forecasts to support buying, inventory planning, and stock allocation decisions.
Collaborate with HQ BI and Data teams to improve reporting efficiency, dashboard functionality, and automation.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across business reports and analytical tools.
Provide ad hoc business analysis and insights to support the Product, Buying, Merchandising, and Management teams.
Translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, practical, and commercially actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, preferably within fashion retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or other consumer-focused industries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commercial and business-oriented mindset.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and other analytical functions.
Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
Experience in writing SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Knowledge of Python or R will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of retail merchandising KPIs and commercial performance metrics is highly preferred.
Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to business stakeholders.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate effective collaboration with HQ teams.
Willing to relocate to Guangzhou, China, and travel occasionally within SEA.
