Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Regional Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of data center HVAC systems from factory to client handover. You will coordinate across engineering, project, service and site teams to ensure readiness at each commissioning stage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Strong technical knowledge of chillers and CDU HVAC systems including refrigeration, hydraulics and controls.
• Experience managing complex engineering products with long development cycles.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Self-motivated, well organized and detail-oriented; strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Write and run the sequence of operations (SOO) documents.
• Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and client witness tests.
• Participate in design reviews and verify construction matches the design.
• Run SAT, IST and functional performance tests.
• Hand over systems to the client's operations team and ensure smooth transition.
• Identify technical issues and lead troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Maintain complete commissioning records at every stage.

Regional Commissioning Engineer (HVAC, Cooling System to Data Center)

The role You'll handle commissioning of cooling systems from start to finish, from the factory floor to handover to the client. You'll be the link between the engineering, project, service and site teams.

What you'll do

Work with the project, engineering, service and site teams to make sure equipment and systems are ready for each commissioning stage.

Lead and coordinate your assigned commissioning work across all five levels (L1-L5), including:

• Writing and running the sequence of operations (SOO) documents
• Supporting factory acceptance tests (FAT) and client witness tests
• Taking part in design reviews and checking that construction matches the design
• Running start-up, site acceptance tests (SAT), integrated systems tests (IST) and functional performance tests
• Handing the systems over to the client's operations team
• Find technical issues and non-conformances early, then lead troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Keep commissioning records complete and accurate at every stage.

What you'll bring

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

An advanced degree or a commissioning (CX) certification is a plus.

• 2-3+ years in commissioning or project management, ideally in data centres, HVAC or a related engineering field
• Strong technical knowledge of chillers, CDUs (coolant distribution units) and other HVAC systems, covering refrigeration, hydraulics, controls and sustainability standards
• Proven success in managing complex engineering products with long development cycles.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Self-motivated, well organised and detail-oriented
• You enjoy working directly with customers, consultants and contractors, and you manage stakeholders well
• Good with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
