Job summary

Maybank Islamic in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of a BaaS platform across regional markets, align with strategy, and translate it into KPIs and delivery plans.

You will coordinate sprints, run weekly technical syncs, document specifications, manage risks, and prepare teams to operate post-launch with training and UAT oversight. Strong PM discipline and fintech delivery experience required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
Experience in technical project management, platform delivery, or implementation, preferably within Fintech or Digital Banking.
Experience with project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and relevant certifications is a plus.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Azure to track delivery cycles.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical User Stories for developers.
Strong interpersonal skills to drive results in a matrixed environment.
Proactive approach to identifying risks before they impact timelines.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of the BaaS platform across regional markets.
Monitor timelines, coordinate sprint activities, and facilitate live go-lists with strategy.
Serve as technical liaison between business partners and technology teams.
Organize cross-functional sign-off sessions and ensure documentation meets standards.
Prepare regional teams to operate and maintain the platform post-delivery, including UAT oversight.
