Job summary

Grab in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead IFRS-aligned regional accounting for its B2B portfolio. You will partner with product, operations and commercial teams to ensure accurate, auditable reporting as the business scales across SEA.

You will own the regional accounting framework, translate complex IFRS positions for non-finance teams, and drive process improvements while coordinating with country controllers and FP&A for audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in controllership, technical accounting, or audit with IFRS focus.
• Experience supporting multi-country operations across SEA.
• Ability to translate IFRS positions into plain-language guidance for product and commercial teams.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Partner early with product, operations, and commercial teams on initiatives.
• Determine accounting treatment for new B2B offerings under IFRS.
• Own regional accounting framework for B2B products across SEA.
• Identify and remediate historical revenue or cost accounting misalignments.
• Oversee the finance reporting process end-to-end with country finance/SSC teams.
• Act as regional contact for group-level audits and SOX for the B2B portfolio.
