Job summary

Grab, Southeast Asia's leading superapp, seeks a Regional Business Finance professional in Malaysia to partner with product, operations, and commercial teams on IFRS-based accounting for the Deliveries business. You will help scale regional frameworks and ensure audit readiness as the segment grows.

You will report to the Regional Business Finance Manager and base at the Malaysia office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Strong IFRS and internal controls are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in controllership, technical accounting, or audit.
• Solid expertise in IFRS and internal controls.
• Experience supporting multi-country operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partner early with product, operations, and commercial teams on upcoming projects—surfacing accounting implications before launch and advising on processes so downstream reporting stays auditable.
• Lead the accounting treatment for new Deliveries product offerings in line with IFRS and resolve ambiguous positions with technical teams.
• Oversee the regional accounting framework for Deliveries products across SEA, driving consistency and correcting deviations with local controllers and FP&A.
• Oversee end-to-end finance reporting for the Deliveries business, coordinating with data, process, and systems owners while execution is delegated to country finance or SSC teams.
• Act as the regional contact for group-level financial audit and SOX for the Deliveries portfolio, guiding country teams through audits and flagging control risks.
