Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dynamic Recreation Attendant to create activity agendas, recruit and schedule guests, and maintain a safe, enjoyable environment for guests at our leisure facilities.

You will promote available facilities, handle guest inquiries, and assist in coaching staff while ensuring equipment is well-maintained and procedures are followed. The role is full-time and on-site in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of recreation and fitness equipment helpful.
• Any local/state required certifications or training must be current.

Responsibilities

• Create recreational activity agendas and advertisements using publishing software.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Provide information about available recreation facilities and activities to guests.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies per local procedures.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching staff.
• Process orders or transactions and collect payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of recreational equipment and facilities.
• Support overall guest services and preserve company assets.
