Job summary

Accor is seeking a Recreation Assistant at our Sepang-area hotel to create enjoyable, safe and memorable experiences for guests in our recreational facilities.

You will provide warm, enthusiastic service, assist guests with activities and equipment, and ensure all areas are clean, well maintained, and compliant with safety guidelines. Fresh candidates are welcome to apply; hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic and service-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable interacting with guests of different ages and backgrounds.
• Responsible and attentive towards guest safety.
• Previous experience in Recreation, Kids Club, Leisure, Sports or Hospitality is an advantage but fresh candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly and enthusiastic service to guests using the hotel's recreational facilities.
• Assist guests with recreational activities, equipment and facilities, ensuring they are comfortable and properly guided.
• Maintain recreational equipment through regular cleaning, inspection and proper storage.
• Monitor the condition and availability of recreational equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure all recreational areas are clean, organised, safe and ready for guest use.
• Assist guests with special needs when using recreational facilities and ensure safety entry and exit from activity areas.
• Follow and implement hotel safety procedures and recreational facility guidelines.
• Provide basic assistance to guests in need and promptly seek appropriate support in case of emergencies or minor medical incidents.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management
