Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Linux Jump Host Administrator to support secure engineering environments by administering Linux-based jump hosts, deploying and patching servers on VMware/Hyper-V, and implementing CIS hardening.

You will configure PAM and SSH access controls, manage local users and RBAC, support CyberArk and Zscaler integrations, and assist with compliance reporting and audits within a manufacturing-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 4+ years of dedicated Linux System Administration experience.
• Strong administration across RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS.
• Experience with Linux hardening and CIS Benchmarks.
• SSH daemon configuration and access controls knowledge.
• PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) experience.
• Local users, groups, permissions, and RBAC management (no AD).
• Syslog/Rsyslog/Journald and secure log forwarding know-how.
• Bash scripting or Python automation experience.
• Experience with compliance, audit controls, and security documentation.
• VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper-V virtualization experience.

A successful RDL Jump Host Admin should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
• 4+ years of dedicated Linux System Administration experience
• Strong Linux administration across RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, and CentOS
• Experience with Linux hardening and CIS Benchmarks
• Strong knowledge of SSH daemon configuration and access controls
• Hands-on experience with PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules)
• Experience managing local users, groups, permissions, and RBAC without Active Directory reliance
• Knowledge of Syslog, Rsyslog, Journald, and secure log forwarding
• Bash scripting and/or Python automation
• Experience with compliance, audit controls, and security documentation
• VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in secure Linux environments
