Job summary

Rakuten Insight Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Rakuten Insight Global, Inc., is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join the Malaysia team to manage multiple market research projects.

The role emphasizes planning, organizing and managing online data collection, coordinating with global teams, and ensuring KPIs, timely delivery, and client satisfaction across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum 3 years in Marketing Research, ideally across client servicing and project management.
• Strong knowledge of online/offline, ad-hoc and tracker methodologies.
• Able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
• Excellent communication and client servicing skills.
• Strong ownership and attention to detail.

About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join the Malaysia team to manage multiple market research projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Plan, organize and manage resources for data collection projects with a special focus into online projects.
• Co-ordinate / co-operate with different parties to achieve the project KPIs and goals.
• Communicating with project teams across different countries effectively.
• Control costs, time and resources while meeting deadlines.

Client Management

• Ensure client satisfaction from the projects managed.
• Closely monitor and manage commissioned projects to resolve issues that might surface.
• Take ownership of the work being assigned.
• Collaborate with local vendors to best support client's requests.

Other

• Understand questionnaire design and flows.
• Understand sampling frames, quotas, and basic research terminologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum 3 year working experience in Marketing Research is required; ideally across both client servicing and project management.
• Strong knowledge on a variety of methodologies such as online and offline, ad-hoc and trackers.
• Able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
• Excellent communication and client servicing skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and excellent attention to detail.
