Job summary

Cardas Research & Consulting Sdn Bhd is seeking a research member to join a project-led team in Petaling Jaya. You will perform secondary and primary research, gather data on customer usage and perception, and conduct qualitative analysis with guidance from a project manager. Daily reporting and collaboration will be essential.

The role offers training, opportunities to upskill, and a path toward a permanent position in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary information search via secondary research methods.
• Gather data using primary research techniques on customer usage and perception.
• Conduct qualitative research and rewrite/edit unstructured data.
• Screen, validate, translate, group, and recode data.
• Report daily progress and participate in daily issue discussions.

Job description

To work in a team as research member lead by a project manager and assisted by a project assistant

Perform preliminary information search via secondary research techniques to understand the research subject’s industry and the products / services offering

To gather data and information using primary research techniques on customers usage and perception research and satisfaction research

To conduct qualitative research, which includes obtaining unstructured data and rewriting / editing

To screen and validate data and information gathered and perform data translation, grouping, and recode

To report daily status progress and conduct daily meeting to discuss issues if any while carrying out the research study.

Job Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor’s in any field.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Ability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively.

Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.

Available to work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
