Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites applications for a Telecommunications Technician (Network Management) to perform routine inspection, testing and maintenance of railway telecommunications and network management systems in the assigned maintenance area.

The role supports preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment; monitor system status and report abnormalities; record activities and prepare reports; comply with safety procedures; work on shifts and at project sites

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, ICT, Railway Communications, Computer Networks or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and internship/industrial training experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
• Responsible, proactive and safety-conscious.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection, testing and maintenance of railway telecommunications and network management systems within the assigned maintenance area.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of telecommunications equipment and information systems.
• Monitor the operational status of telecommunications systems and report abnormalities in a timely manner.
• Identify, report and assist in rectifying faults in telecommunications equipment in accordance with maintenance standards.
• Record maintenance activities accurately and prepare maintenance and inspection reports.
• Comply with company safety procedures and applicable railway telecommunications standards and work instructions.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
