Job summary

Roche is seeking a finance professional to manage fixed assets and lease accounting, including capital projects and month-end close, in a dynamic shared service environment. The role requires SAP proficiency and English/Japanese language skills, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

You will collaborate with the Period End Close team, support audits and tax schedules, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes within Roche’s high-standard controls framework.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in fixed asset & lease accounting or related field.
• SAP knowledge or other ERP accounting systems and MS Office tools.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese language required (Japanese at least N3).

Responsibilities

• Handle fixed assets & lease accounting: creation, disposal, maintenance, transfer, depreciation, and reporting.
• Manage capital projects: setup, transactions, tracking, closing, capitalization, and ROI measurement.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support period end close.
• Support audit and tax schedules with required documentation.
• Ensure documentation, ICFR compliance, and alignment with SLAs and KPIs.
