Job summary

Roche in Malaysia seeks a finance professional to manage fixed assets and lease accounting, ensure IFRS16 compliance and complete month-end close processes. You will handle capital projects, perform reconciliations, and support audits while maintaining robust documentation and control.

The role requires a finance degree or diploma with 1–3 years' experience, ERP/SAP knowledge, and strong English plus Japanese language skills for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years in fixed asset and lease accounting or related field.
• SAP knowledge or other ERP systems and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong English and Japanese language skills; Japanese mandatory for day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fixed assets & lease accounting: create, dispose, maintain, transfer, depreciate, and report.
• Cap project accounting: setup, track spending, close projects, and measure returns.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and period-end close support.
• Support internal/external audits with schedules and documents.
• Documentation, control adherence and continuous improvement initiatives.
