Monks, the global digital-first brand of S4 Capital, seeks an Accountant to join the Corporate team in a hands-on finance role. You will manage daily financial operations, month-end accounting and compliance in a fast-paced environment, while collaborating across a regional finance team.

The role emphasizes consolidation to an international group company, year-end reporting, and interaction with external providers. A CPA and APAC experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Finance/Accounting or related fields.
• 3+ years accounting experience, 1+ year post qualification experience with a similar role.
• APAC experience preferred; CPA preferred.
• Year-end reporting and audit experience; Month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the General Ledger Accounts.
• Manage Fixed Asset/Prepayment/Expense Accrual schedules.
• Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis.
• Manage month end closing and statutory financial reporting to meet deadlines.
• Review and analysis of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts.
• Preparation and lodgement of payroll tax and BAS/IAS/GST/VAT.
• Assist with consolidating quarter/half year/year end accounts for the S4 group.
• Assist with financial analysis.
