Job summary

Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a seasoned project manager to lead medium-to-large cross-functional projects through full lifecycle within the Penang R&D Sustaining Group.

The role focuses on manufacturing, escalations, risk management, and continuous improvement, coordinating Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Services to deliver on time and within budget.

• Handle manufacturing, customer, and quality/RMA escalations.

• Lead medium-to-large cross-functional projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and action-item tracking.
• Manage project scope, cost, timelines, and resource requirements to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate planning and decision-making across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while balancing schedule, cost, quality, and features.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders and elevate issues when needed.
• Provide clear and timely project communications to teams, sponsors and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and governance compliance.

• This role is open for Penang R&D Sustaining Group
• Lead medium-to-large cross-functional projects through the full project lifecycle.
• This role required MFG background.
• This role will be handle Manufacturing escalations, Customer escalations, Quality /RMA escalations and life cycle management projects as well.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and action-item tracking.
• Manage project scope, cost, timelines, and resource requirements to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate project planning, decision-making, and problem-solving across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Services, and other stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks while balancing schedule, cost, quality, and feature requirements.
• Drive alignment among cross-functional stakeholders and elevate issues appropriately when needed.
• Build strong partnerships across functions to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide clear and timely project communications to project teams, sponsors, and leadership.
• Evaluate trade-offs and make recommendations to support business objectives and project success.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote project management best practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable product development processes, tools, and governance requirements.
