Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an assembler to support the preparation, assembly, and testing of actuators and spare kits. You will follow engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure products meet safety and quality standards while hitting daily production targets.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work across models in a busy, high‑mix environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble actuators and spare kits according to drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Perform assembly and testing across different product models to meet daily production targets and customer delivery schedules.
• Inspect components and assembled products, identifying and reporting defects or deviations from specifications.
• Support component picking, material preparation, labelling and packing to maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workplace by following 5S and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Stores, QA and Shipping to support production and delivery requirements.
• Promptly report production issues, material shortages and safety hazards to the supervisor.

Descripción del empleo

Join Emerson as an Assembler and support the assembly and testing of actuators and spare kits. You will work according to engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions to ensure products meet safety, quality and customer requirements while achieving daily production targets.

Key responsibilities

Assemble actuators and spare kits according to engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.

Perform assembly and testing across different product models to meet daily production targets and customer delivery schedules.

Inspect components and assembled products, identifying and reporting defects or deviations from specifications.

Support component picking, material preparation, labelling and packing to maintain a smooth production flow.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe workplace by following 5S practices and safety requirements.

Work closely with fellow assemblers and support colleagues with assembly tasks when required.

Coordinate with Production Planning, Stores, Quality Assurance and Shipping to support production and delivery requirements.

Promptly report production issues, material shortages, safety hazards and improvement opportunities to the supervisor.

Follow company policies and stop work whenever safety risks are unclear or inadequately controlled.

About you

At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly, equipment repair or industrial maintenance.

Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical manuals.

Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Basic understanding of quality control and ability to identify product defects.

Willingness to handle different product models and adapt to changing priorities in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment.

Ability to support assembly, testing, picking, labelling and packing activities.

Ability to read, write and communicate in Bahasa Melayu and English.

A responsible team player with a strong commitment to safety, quality and meeting production targets.

Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
