Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam seeks a passionate R&D Junior Chemist to join the Protective Coatings R&D team. You will develop new products, validate test methods, and scale formulations from concept to market launch.

The role reports to the Regional R&D Manager – Marine and Protective SEAP and requires a degree in Chemistry or related field with 1–3 years’ experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualificações

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related field.
• 1–3 years’ work experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Background in statistics and data analysis is an advantage.
• Experience in chemical R&D is beneficial.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out research by planning, formulating, testing and evaluating formulations.
• Use statistical tools to plan and analyze experiments.
• Support improvement studies and cross-regional collaboration.
• Present results orally and in writing with clear insights.
• Stay updated with new coatings technologies and raw materials.
