Job summary

Agricore CS Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated R&D Intern to join our team in Bukit Minyak, Penang. You will assist projects by helping design, build, and test prototypes, conduct experiments, collect data, and report findings to the team.

This role offers hands-on lab and data analysis experience across food ingredients and additives. Responsibilities include maintaining lab safety, preparing succinct reports, and collaborating with engineers to explore new product ideas while gaining practical

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biotech), or Computer Science.
• Skills: Strong curiosity, analytical thinking, and basic data analysis skills.
• Lab/Tech Skills: Familiarity with basic laboratory tools, safety protocols, or coding languages (depending on the field).
• Communication: Good written and verbal skills to document experiments clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Projects: Help the R&D team design, build, or test prototypes of new products.
• Conduct Tests: Perform experiments and quality tests in a laboratory or digital simulation environment.
• Collect Data: Gather, organize, and analyze test results accurately using excel or specific software.
• Literature Research: Search for and read scientific papers or market trends to support new ideas.
• Maintain Labs: Keep lab equipment clean, organized, and running safely.
• Report Findings: Prepare short reports and presentations to share test results with the team.
